Would You Like To Be A Model?


You don’t need to be young, good-looking or experienced and you can be any age, sex, weight, or height. My studio is wheelchair accessible, so you don't need to be able-bodied either.  However, if you are under eighteen years of age, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.


What I Would Like From You:

 

Just your patience for a few hours at a time to allow my students (and me occasionally) to experiment with different lighting ideas, techniques, equipment and set-ups.

 

In Return You'll Receive:

 

FREE digital copies of the photos taken. These would easily cost you many hundreds of pounds per session if you had to pay for them, so you’ll be getting a great deal. The images gained will be a suitable addition to your portfolio if you'd like to do more modelling in the future.

 

Free tuition.  Modelling isn’t easy and some people will find it easier than others. It takes practice and there are techniques to learn - I will teach you the necessary basics for our session/s, but you'll have to put in the practice in order to improve if you want to take it seriously.

 

FREE refreshments. Tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water, biscuits, crisps, snacks etc.


How It Works:


Initially, we will need to meet to discuss how things will proceed during our sessions and do any necessary form filling etc. This will also allow us the opportunity to make sure that each of us knows what to expect from the other. 

 

We will also need to discuss whether there is anyone else you may want to bring along with you (friend, partner, carer, parent/guardian etc.) and whether you will be using the services of a make-up artist and/or hairstylist.  If so, we will need to make arrangements that will suit everyone.

Already Experienced?


I offer TFP for both you and your MUA. Bring me your ideas - I'm happy to try anything new and my studio is fully-equipped; lots of strobes and modifiers, stands, cameras, video, grips, gels, fans, smoke machines, backdrops, projectors with cookies & gobos etc. If I don't already have what you need (very unlikely), I will either buy or rent it.


Important Notes: 



  • I may need to see photographic evidence that proves you are over eighteen years of age (Driving Licence, Passport etc.) if I think you look too young.  
  •  I will not release any pictures that are (in my opinion) ‘technical failures’ and any I reject will be destroyed.
  • I have an Assistance Dog, so if you dislike dogs, I’m afraid I won’t be able to use you.
  • SMOKERS - Please do not apply. Health issues mean I cannot be close to you.
