I offer unstructured, no nonsense, one-to-one tuition. I'll only teach what you want to learn and at your pace, so you can improve your knowledge and understanding. In my opinion, there's nothing worse than being in a class or listening to lectures (yawn!) - interaction works best. I guarantee it will be a lot faster for you because there will be no other students, so no distractions.
Film Or Digital?
It doesn't matter, it's all photography. I have a collection of old film cameras that I still like to use as well as modern film and digital ones, so I can help either way. I also develop my own films at home - black & white and colour.
Will It Be Studio Based Only?
No, not at all. Obviously, I'm happy to teach you studio work if you're interested in it, but as long as the weather is reasonable we can work outside too.
Despite my limitations, I still drive and can take my wheelchair and dog with me anywhere. It's a 4x4 too, so in a lot of cases I can probably get to places that you think I would be unable to.

I Don't Know Everything
Over the years I've tried most aspects and genres of photography, but I don't have expertise in all things and I don't pretend to. If I did, I'd be making a lot more money. However, having been a photographer since the seventies, I do have a lot of experience for you to call upon.
Besides, you may already know more than I do about the particular aspect of photography you wish to learn about, so there's no sense in paying me until you know I can help you. So . . .
